Pain Clinic Staff:  Physicians of a number of specialties including interventional specialists, chiropractic physicians, orthopedists, neurologists, surgeons, and others may be involved in your case to help to alleviate your pain as quickly and completely as possible.
Services: New patients are seen by either direct or physician referral.  Patients are seen with the expectation that in-office treatments or hospital procedures may play an important role in treating a patient’s painful condition.  We do not provide primary medical care.  Conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and others should be addressed by the appropriate physician.  True medical emergencies should be directed to 911 or the nearest emergency room.
Referrals: Referrals to other physicians are made as necessary and warranted.
Office Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, except holidays.  Weekend and after hours appointments are available by appointment only.
Prescriptions: We do not refill medications of any type prescribed by outside physicians. We provide medications on a short-term basis, however we do not provide long-term medication management.  We do not accept medical marijuana patients.
Appointment Length: Appointment lengths vary on the type of procedures performed.  In general, new patient appointments typically run 1 – 1 ½ hours, and follow up visits typically take 20 – 40 minutes.  Hospital procedures vary greatly.
Fees and Insurance: Fees are dependent upon the type and amount of services provided.  Charges for new patients are generally higher than established patients.  Coverage will vary depending on your insurance program.  We accept most health insurance, automobile insurance, attorney liens, and workers compensation insurances.  Benefits will be verified prior to your being seen by the physician.  You or your secondary insurance may be responsible for costs not covered by your primary insurance.  Deductibles and co-payments are due at the time of service.
Confidentiality: Your medical records are kept strictly confidential. Except as provided by law, they will not be released without your, or your guardian/power of attorney signed authorization of records release.  As required by federal law, our office is HIPAA compliant.
